PACE Canada LP (PACE), is developing a 6 MWac solar project. Starting in 2018, PACE has conducted the requisite studies for connection to the ATCO distribution system and to complete the AUC 007 consultation process. PACE expects to have completed all the necessary documentation for the AUC to issue a “leave to Construct and Operate” permit by Q3-2020. The Project will connect at the ATCO distribution system and will export electricity onto the Alberta Interconnected Electric System (AIES). The required wildlife studies for the Alberta Environment & Parks (AEP) led to it issuing its “Low” impact review and referral letter in 2018.
